The terms and conditions stated below apply to orders placed on the website, and the use of our website. Upon placing an order with us you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to our terms and conditions.

All items on our site are inclusive of VAT (please note that children's clothing is VAT exempt).

All rights, including copyright, in this website are owned by Match & Hatch Ltd. Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use is prohibited without the permission of Match & Hatch Ltd. You may not modify, delete, distribute or re-post anything on this website for any purpose.

Availability

All items are subject to availability. We shall inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available.

Every care has been taken to ensure that the description, prices and specification are correct. However, while colour production is a close representation, a very slight variation in the actual goods may appear. We cannot be held responsible for any variations that may arise caused by your browser or computer software. Match & Hatch Ltd reserves the right to alter prices of the products without prior notice.

Ordering errors

You are able to correct errors on your order up to the point at which you click on ‘submit order’ on the final page of our ordering process.

Delays

Occasionally, products could be delayed. This could be for various reasons such as higher than anticipated demand or delays from the manufacture. We will, of course, make every effort to keep you informed.

Privacy policy

Match & Hatch Ltd treats your personal information passed to us by you with the utmost care and respect. We recognise the importance of protecting your privacy. The data entered on your order form may be stored and used for individual customer care, and to process orders. From time to time we may contact you with information that may be of use regarding new products, promotions and special offers. The contract between us will be governed by the laws of England and any dispute between us will be resolved by the English Courts.

Returns policy

If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied we will be happy to give you a refund, please allow up to 30 days for it to be returned to you (the cardholder). Please return your purchase within 7 days from the day after delivery with its original packaging, and in unused condition.

You must enclose proof of purchase and a returns authorisation code supplied by us. Please e-mail us at customer.service@matchandhatch.co.uk to attain this code prior to posting. The postage and packaging charge is non-refundable. The parcel is your responsibility until it reaches us so we strongly recommend that you send it by registered post, as we shall not be held responsible for goods lost in transit, so please hold on to your proof of postage.

We will only be able to issue a refund to the card that was used to purchase these product(s). Your statutory rights are unaffected.

Faulty Goods

All of our gifts are thoroughly quality checked. However in the unlikely event that any product is found to be faulty or damaged in transit please return them within 30 days of purchase and we will be happy to exchange or refund the amount. Please keep proof of postage for any products returned.

How secure is the site?

Our site uses 128-bit secure socket layer (SSL) to ensure that all sensitive information – including name, address and credit card details – is encrypted. Card payments are processed in real time by Barclaycard Merchant Services.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payments by credit or debit card only. You can pay using any of the following card types: Visa, MasterCard, Visa Electron, Maestro, Solo, or JCB.

All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

Where will you ship to?

We currently only deliver to UK addresses. Please note that PO boxes, hotels and accommodation addresses are not acceptable.

Damage to your computer

Match & Hatch makes every effort to ensure that this website is free from viruses or defects. However, we cannot guarantee that your use of this website or any websites accessible through it won’t cause damage to your computer. It is your responsibility to ensure that the right equipment is available to use the website and screen out anything that may damage it. Match & Hatch will not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise to computer equipment as a result of using this website.

Modification of terms and conditions

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time. We therefore encourage you to review them as often as possible. Any changes are immediately effective upon posting to the website.
